- Teaches graduate-level counseling courses in evening and online formats, aligned with program needs and faculty expertise.
- Evaluates and assesses student performance to ensure growth, professional development, and mastery of counseling knowledge and skills.
- Maintains regular office hours to meet the academic and personal needs of students.
- Provides mentorship and academic advising that support students' professional growth and spiritual development.
- Participates in departmental governance, curriculum development, and accreditation activities.
- Serves on School and University committees, as assigned.
- Engages in scholarly inquiry and maintains an active research agenda that supports the mission and values of the University.
- Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program, required. Licensed or license eligible as a professional counselor or related credential, required.
- Must possess knowledge of CACREP standards and accreditation processes.
- Strong analytical and communication skills are an essential element of the position.
- Prior experience with online and hybrid course delivery, preferred.
- 2+ years prior teaching experience in higher education and a record of scholarly activity, preferred.

SUMMARY
The School of Education and Behavioral Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education program. The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Science in Counselor Education program and will demonstrate a strong commitment to the Christian faith, excellence in teaching, and a passion for preparing future counselors.
Within the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, faculty members prepare students for clinical licensure through a rigorous academic curriculum, field-based experiential learning, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and intentional mentoring relationships.
STATUS:
This is a full-time position that may be either fully remote or based on our West Palm Beach campus. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
