What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach graduate-level counseling courses in evening and online formats
- Evaluate and assess student performance to ensure professional growth and mastery of counseling skills
- Maintain regular office hours to support students' academic and personal needs
- Provide mentorship and academic advising that fosters professional and spiritual development
- Engage in departmental governance, curriculum development, and accreditation processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP-accredited program
- Licensed or license-eligible as a professional counselor or related credential
- Knowledge of CACREP standards and accreditation processes
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Minimum of 2+ years teaching experience in higher education and a record of scholarly activity
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with online and hybrid course delivery
- A demonstrated record of scholarly activity in the field of counseling
