What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development
- Drive strategic initiatives and represent the Event Experience team in client and internal meetings
- Establish and maintain financial standards for event managers, ensuring fiscal accountability
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive training programs for team members
- Build strong client relationships to ensure successful event execution and repeat business
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College degree or equivalent
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the meeting industry
- At least 4 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing direct reports
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex events with 1,000-8,000 attendees
- Strong client communication and consulting skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Cvent and other event management software
- Experience in high-end incentives and creative experiential elements
- Background in strategy development and implementation
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively
- Experience working in a virtual office environment
