What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with Mission System business leaders to understand and address their key requirements
- Drive improvement strategies based on opportunities outlined in Mission Systems Goal Alignment
- Mentor a team of Operational Excellence Leaders to establish goals for CORE & Lean maturity
- Lead teams to resolve critical problems involving multiple variables across various sites and organizations
- Coach plant leadership on implementing the Lean Operating System to foster self-sufficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills to identify issues and create solutions
- Proven ability to lead high-impact teams and communicate effectively with a broad audience, including executives
- Experience with technical teams in a global business environment
- Proficiency in MS Office products, including Visio
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Continuous Improvement certification (e.g., Lean/ACE/CORE certification, Six Sigma Black Belt)
- Demonstrated success in leading initiatives to support manufacturing improvements
- Experience in designing and implementing strategic plans for business enhancement
- Ability to craft clear communications for diverse audiences
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
