JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a skilled, experienced IT Application Associate General Manager with extensive experience in the Development of Mission critical airport specific applications / systems to bring in optimization using cutting edge technology stack. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring in technology solutions for seamless operation, integration, and enhancement of critical systems within the airport environment.

Accountabilities

System Development:

• Lead & Drive technology solutions using latest technology stack which will enhance efficiencies and bring in optimizations, operational efficiencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, workflows, and integration points across various systems / applications.

  New Product evaluation, Automation & Technology adoption

  • Lead technology driven projects to evaluate software products, solutions and cutting-edge technology to enhance consumer experience and provide competitive edge
  • Study the product / solutions. Prepare detailed evaluation criteria on technological solutions
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between these systems to enhance passenger experience.
  • Evaluate options and present recommendations to IT Leadership team

System Performance and Availability:

• Lead and drive technically to Monitor the performance, scalability & uptime of newly developed or existing enterprise systems
• Proactively addressing any technical issues to minimize disruptions.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Actively participate and lead key technological initiatives during upgrade / migration

System Design & Development

• Involve in technology & design discussions to provide meaningful solutions, reviews & feedback.
• Conduct feasibility study as needed, develop PoC’s document Systems Requirement and prepare detailed system design.
• Evaluate final system design in order to identify potential problem areas and make appropriate recommendations to ensure that solution is scalable.
• Conducts regular reviews with project stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions are deployed as per CISO guidelines and approvals.

Operational Efficiency Improvements:

• Implement technology and process driven operational efficiencies for key business stakeholders
• Create automation landscape / platform which can quickly spin-up automation and digitalization across various business functions
• Implement Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics to bring in better control in data
• Evaluate final system design in order to identify potential problem areas, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure that solution is scalable.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Active involvement and hands on coding & implementation of key modules
• Review code thoroughly and recommend best practices
• Must have deep knowledge and exposure to public cloud environments such as Azure / AWS / GCS

Integration:

• Build robust systems integration framework to achieve seamless dataflow between the systems
• Use of best & scalable technology stack to achieve uni-directional / bi-directional integrations

Project Timelines:

• Percentage of projects related to system enhancement or integration completed within the defined timelines.
• Timely execution of projects with minimal escalations during project implementation phase.

System Performance Metrics:

• Build improved & optimal response times of newly developed systems
• Focus on Transaction processing speed and throughput rates of existing / new systems.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 12-15 years of hands-on experience in architecting mission critical enterprise solutions, preferably Airport specific systems in a multi-stakeholder ecosystem.
• Prospective candidate should be willing to work independently in the capacity of solution architect using advanced technology including AI/ML but not limited to JAVA stack
• Must have managed large scale end to end business applications migrations with detailed planning, project risks and mitigations.
• Must have experience in creating application migration Roadmap & Strategy.
