      Assurance

      Our Assurance group provides assurance on the financial performance and operations of clients’ businesses, as well as helping clients to improve their external financial reporting and adapt to new regulatory requirements. Assurance focuses primarily on public and private sector audit services, and includes the Global Capital Markets Group (GCMG).

      Main Purpose:
      Preparation of financial statements of various entities and individuals/sole proprietors and perform general accounting functions.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Liasing with and managing a portfolio of clients

      • Preparation of management information and financial statements

      • Processing of data

      • Reconciliations

      • Tax calculations

      • Completion of tax and tax returns for Individuals, Trusts, Closed Corporations and Companies

      • Drafting of Financial Statements

      • Perform general accounting functions

      • Completion of IT12/14 forms

      • Completion of VAT returns


      Skills and Competencies:

      • B.Com Degree

      • Good administrative and communication skills

      • Relevant tax and tax experience will be advantageous

      • Must be computer literate - good knowledge of Pastel, Ms Word and Excel

      • Must be able to work under pressure

      • Must be able to work overtime when necessary

      • Must have own transport with valid driver’s license

      • Good working knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SME

      • Extensive CaseWare experience
