      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Suffolk Dietetic service. The department consists of 43 Dietitians, Nurses, Support staff and administrators providing an integrated service to West Suffolk Hospital and the wider community. The West Suffolk Dietetic service is forward thinking, innovative and friendly department. We fully support and encourage self-development within our service.

      We are seeking a Band 5/6 Dietitian to join our dynamic paediatric team consisting of different specialities and general dietetics. We are looking to recruit a dietitian that has some knowledge of paediatric dietetics and some experience of working with paediatric patients in a dietetic department. There will be opportunities to develop your skills further in this area and training will be provided.

      Band 5 to Band 6 Development Post dependent on experience.

      Main duties of the job

      The role will entail managing 2-3 clinics a week and providing dietetic care to patients residing on the paediatric ward at West Suffolk Hospital. The postholder will be involved in carrying out audits and service development. They will be fully supported by the senior paediatric dietitians .
