      The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and business support to the departments within the Rehabilitation Services.

      To work as part of a team and to carry out administrative duties on a day to day basis. This may include covering essential and appropriate operational duties in the absence of colleagues.

      Main duties of the job

      Ensure all processes are completed timely, accurately and identified information systems are updated to agreed standards.

      To support clinicians within the service with identified administration tasks.

      Produce a range of correspondence, ensuring all documents are accurate and produced to a high standard.

      On a daily basis, make and receive telephone calls to/from patients, staff and people from outside organisations ensuring any actions are dealt with appropriately.

      Liaise with staff groups to arrange clinical investigations or procedures. Ensure any results required are available and escalate any issues to avoid delays in the patient pathway.

      Participate within the patient pathway ensuring information about care is clearly communicated to the correct clinical teams.
