      Location: Kirksville, MO

      Setting: Residential or Clinic

      Client Population: Adult and/or Youth

      Employment Type: Full-Time

      Shifts: Weekdays, Weekends, or Overnights

      In this role, you’ll provide direct and supportive care to clients/patients in residential and withdrawal management settings. You’ll help monitor health indicators, facilitate structured activities, respond to crises, and support medication administration—all while fostering a safe, therapeutic environment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients

      • Monitor vital signs and escalate when necessary

      • Oversee and document medication administration

      • Monitor OTC medications and maintain inventory

      • Document blood glucose levels and maintain equipment

      • Conduct supervision checks per safety plans and procedures

      • Assist clients with personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, dressing) when necessary

      Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent

      • Minimum of two (2) years of responsible employment

      Additional Qualifications:

      • Knowledge of confidentiality laws in behavioral health

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills

      • Ability to interpret safety and procedural documents

      • Basic math and keyboarding skills

      • Ability to navigate electronic medical records

      • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

      • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and rapport with clients

      For Kirksville RCF staff, Illinois staff, and Kansas Residential staff only:

      Must provide evidence that incumbent is free of infectious and contagious disease, such as TB, prior to beginning employment and annually thereafter.
