What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Programme Management Office (PMO) function for the Big Catch-Up (BCU) initiative, ensuring global coordination and visibility of implementation progress
- Facilitate risk analysis and escalation processes, preparing briefs for senior management on implementation challenges
- Provide strategic input on institutionalizing catch-up vaccination within routine immunization systems
- Offer targeted technical support to selected countries facing high-level challenges in immunization efforts
- Engage with countries and partners to address emerging issues and ensure effective planning and prioritization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced university degree (Master's) in Medicine, Public Health, Health Policy and Management, or related fields
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in international public health program management, including at least three (3) years in immunization programs
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of immunization programs
- Proven ability to engage with national ministries of health and immunization stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with fluency in spoken and written English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with a United Nations agency or other international organization
- Working knowledge of French or Portuguese
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities
- Experience in delivering technical assistance to government counterparts and partners
