Job Description

- Conducts Bioinformatics analyses for external customers, delivering both standardized analyses and custom analytical support
- Provide bioinformatic support to our internal collaborators, developing new analytical methods and presenting findings to diverse audiences
- Stay up-to-date with best practices for high-throughput next-generation sequencing analyses and data presentation
- Collaborate effectively as a team contributor on all assignments as well as independently, while maintaining communication and collaboration with other team members
- Develop new analytical services for existing assays and create novel analysis pipelines for new services and products
- Participate in the design and implementation of novel methods for interrogating transcriptomic and epigenetic datasets
- Support the maintenance of current analysis pipelines for techniques such as ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, RNA-Seq, Hi-C, DNA methylation, and single-cell (scRNA-Seq, scATAC-Seq) assays
- PhD with minimum of two (2) years' post-graduate academic or industry experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or biology related fields
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Expert knowledge of current bioinformatics/genomics/proteomics resources and open-source tools
- Experience with cloud-based analyses and workflow managers is a plus
- Knowledge of epigenetics and assays are required
