      This position is located at Freedom Lanes Bowling, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL. The purpose of this position is to correct all minor malfunctions of the automatic pinsetter and to assist the mechanic in a formal preventative maintenance and repair program of the bowling facility equipment which include pinsetters, ball returns, bumpers, scoring, lanes, ball cleaners and lane maintenance machines along with other bowling center equipment.

      General (Duties include but are not limited to):


      Requirements


      • Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
      • Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
      • You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
      • A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
      • Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
      • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
      • Requires C.A.R.E (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively) trained, hold an Emergency First Responder (EFR) or CPR First Aid certification and hold a current Food Handler certification OR be able to obtain these trainings/certifications within 90 days.
      • Work may require sitting, walking, long periods of standing, bending and lifting of moderate heavy items up to 40 pounds.
      • Must currently reside within 50-mile radius of NAS Jacksonville, FL 32212 or be a relocating spouse with submission of orders.
