Store Locations: Palm Bay, Viera, N. Melbourne, W. Melbourne, Satellite Beach DX & Suntree DX

The Opportunity!

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hosting a hiring event in Brevard County and is seeking motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our retail teams across multiple store locations. These roles support our mission of Building Lives That Work while delivering excellent service to our customers and donors.

Open Positions Include:

• Store Clerk
• Cashier
• Donation Attendant
• Backroom Associates

A Day in the Life

Depending on the role, you may be responsible for:

• Greeting customers and donors with a friendly, professional attitude

• Providing prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service

• Operating a cash register and completing sales transactions

• Handling cash, credit cards, gift cards, and the Round Up program

• Accepting and processing donated goods

• Stocking merchandise and maintaining sales floor organization

• Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized

• Answering phone calls using established etiquette

• Supporting store operations and assisting team members as needed

Qualifications

Requirements

• Basic English proficiency

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous retail, cashiering, or customer service experience is a plus

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn touch-screen cash registers

Physical & Environmental Work Conditions

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull

• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus

• Moderate noise level typical of a retail environment
