- Semiconductor cleanroom environment and dry labs, to maintain facilities support equipment
- Perform scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance on all equipment
- Emphasis on self-perform corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC units, air compressors, and boilers, diagnosing issues and completing necessary repairs to maintain safe and reliable operation.
- Manage Preventive Maintenance system and all associated documentation
- Manage, prioritize and complete incoming work orders and maintain the work order system
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly building tasks and inspections and maintain logs
- Interface with equipment vendors and contractors for technical and parts support
- Researches and solicits vendors for repair parts and preventative maintenance parts for equipment
- Purchases required supplies and materials to complete various projects
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
- Will have times required to be on call
- High School Diploma or GED; Trade school coursework in general carpentry, HVAC, electrical and/or building maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience in building maintenance required
- Experience self-performing corrective maintenance on building systems including HVAC units, air compressors, and boilers, diagnosing issues required
- 2 years related experience of building maintenance in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA occupational safety regulations is required
- Manufacturing and Semiconductor experience is required
- Basic computer literacy for entering and looking up information using standard business software is required
- Fluent in the use of equipment manuals, schematics and drawings to assist in equip
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and others is required
- Strong trouble shooting skills
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common sense skills is required
- Must be able to pass multiple, comprehensive high security pre-employment background investigations and drug screen is required
- Universal EPA Certification preferred.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record, free from suspensions or restrictions, is required.

Overview
Performs a variety of skilled duties focused on preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing setting. This position reports to the Building Maintenance Technician Lead and works under limited supervision.

Work Environment
This is a safety sensitive position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a variety of environments including mechanical rooms, office space and construction areas. Conditions occasionally include exposure to outdoor elements, hot/cold temperatures, wet conditions, noise, atmospheric conditions and cramped quarters. The noise level in the work environment is regularly moderate and occasionally loud.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, physical demands may include sitting, standing, lifting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, exposure to toxic substances, exposure to risk of electrical shock, keyboarding and viewing computer monitor requiring close vision. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 5 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Travel
Minimal travel required unless necessary. This position will be based in the facility.
