- Manage the execution of business application projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business process optimization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, facilitating requirements gathering, solution design, and change management.
- Oversee project teams and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of business application solutions.
- Implement and monitor portfolio governance, risk management, and compliance with PMO standards.
- Drive adoption of business applications through effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Report on portfolio status, benefits, and risks to PMO and business leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, integration, and digital innovation within business and non-clinical project work.
- A Program Manager functions as both subject matter expert and team manager. The responsibilities echo those of a Principal Project manager, but include direct supervision of team members and projects. A Supervisory Project Manager manages programs of related CHOP project plans and leads the Project Management Organization. A Program Manager Manager also:
- 1.Oversees management of a portfolio of related projects; leads and manages large complex projects or a series of projects with significant risk.
- 2.Manages and tracks aggregate budget and resources, reconciles shortages and overages in individual budgets, implements project budget controls as needed, and facilitates program audits.
- 3.Works with Executive Sponsors and Program Managers to define project scopes, resolve critical issues, mitigate risks, establish and monitor appropriate project budgets, and ensure that program management goals and objectives are successfully completed in compliance with organizational and project management practices, standards and policies.
- 4.Collaborates with HR and DTS Resource Managers to identify and select project personnel; communicates the project vision and individual roles to team members; and manages resources, vendors, and all relevant parties.
- 5.Monitors project progress, resolves associated issues and mitigates risks, and ensures that stakeholders remain informed and actively involved in the project’s timely completion.
- 6.Generates and distributes program status reports and metrics for all affiliated stakeholders.
- 7.Provides business input to top management, PMO and key stakeholders on decisions to initiate new projects and discontinue existing projects.
- 8.Negotiates contracts and manages vendor relationships relative to project portfolio.
- 9.Collaborates with the PMO on continuing development of best practice project management tools and techniques.
- 10.Manages, coaches and mentors project managers.
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Healthcare IT or related field - Required
- Master's Degree Business Administration, Health Administration, Radiologist Assistant or additional disciplines - Preferred
- At least ten (10) years experience as project manager in medium to large complex projects with increasing responsibilities. Required
- At least three (3) years Program Management responsibilities experience in large complex programs. Required
- Information Security Requirements: (Required proficiency)
- Understand and comply with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures and standards. (Required proficiency)
- Support the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Hospital Technology Resources that process, transmit, or store CHOP information. (Required proficiency)
- Support all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations that govern the use and disclosure of patient, financial, or other confidential information. (Required proficiency)

Key Responsibilities:
This position will work approximately 80% remotely, 20% on site in our Philadelphia offices on an as-needed basis.
