What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop strategic marketing plans to enhance agency strengths and market share
- Identify and secure profitable new business opportunities in target markets
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key agencies, providing tailored insurance solutions
- Drive revenue growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets through effective strategies
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic business development, marketing, or a related role
- Strong understanding of agency dynamics, marketing, underwriting, and risk management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- Frequent day and overnight travel (60% - 80% of time) to visit agents and brokers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress toward certifications such as Associate in Underwriting (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
