- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements
- Translate requirements into technical specifications, including non-functional needs
- Write BDD-style requirements with precise acceptance criteria
- Develop user stories in Jira and support refinement sessions
- Lead integration requirements across APIs, batch file transfers, and message queues
- Document internal and external system interfaces
- Create artifacts including data flow diagrams, process models, and message mapping documents
- Partner with vendors and engineers on API behaviors, data formats, and exception handling
- Act as BSA Lead, guiding and mentoring other analysts
- Facilitate requirements workshops
- Determine cross-functional impacts and align technology teams
- Support Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Assist with scenario definition and defect triage
- Maintain requirements traceability
- Support Level 3 investigations and root cause analysis
- Provide business context during production issue resolution
- Contribute to standards, templates, and documentation practices
- Promote quality, scalability, and reusability in requirement delivery
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in system build and integration projects
- 3+ years of experience in the Commercial Treasury domain
- Financial services industry experience required
- Strong understanding of banking workflows and system integrations
- Experience with:
- APIs (REST/SOAP), batch file transfers, message queues
- JSON/XML payload analysis
- Postman (API inspection/testing)
- Mainframe integration patterns and flat file exchanges

- Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management practices
- Strong documentation skills, especially vendor-facing and BDD-style requirements
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Experience leading requirements workshops and integration initiatives
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience building treasury capabilities within banking organizations
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently while leading others
