      Catastrophe Response Team Adjuster

      $19.25 - $31.68 per hour

      Job Level: Individual Contributor

      What You Will Be Doing:

      We are looking for individuals that share Shelter’s values of serving our customers and doing the “right thing”. This is an opportunity to put your talents to work in a meaningful way. As a CRT Adjuster you will be serving our customers that have been impacted by a catastrophic event with a primary focus on wind and hail events. You will investigate, analyze, evaluate and settle insurance claims involving property damage losses. You will specialize in adjusting property claims requiring physical inspection which requires extensive travel to a variety of geographic locations. You will determine value of a claim and negotiate settlements. The position involves handling of complex property losses requiring expertise in fraud detection and prevention.

      Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, consumer reports may be ordered on final candidates.

      This position can be done from anywhere within our operating territory, you can work from home in our 15 operating states when not on storm rotation.
