- Schedule : Full-time, 36 hours, 7:00pm - 7:00 am
- Department : Emergency Room (ED)
- Location : Forsyth Medical Center – Winston Salem, N
- Unit Description: Forsyth Medical Center is a tertiary care facility serving patients from 15 counties. The ED handles a high patient volume, averaging 190 to 240 visits daily, and provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. Common cases include, but are not limited to, cardiac emergencies, respiratory conditions, non-compliant COPD, diabetic crises, and behavioral health concerns.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience:
- One year preferred.
- One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Completion of NAI program, required.
- Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
- Medication Safety - AME, required.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
