Assist customers with library card registration and checking out and returning materials.
Assist in preparation, delivery and receipt of Library materials; receive payment from customers.
Provide assistance to customers with Library equipment.
Restock and shelve materials as necessary.
Assist in opening and closing the location.
Friendly, patient and able to multitask while assisting customers.
Organized, detail-oriented and able to work with competing tasks and priorities.
Capable of effectively providing information and responding to questions from customers and staff.
Flexible, positive and willing to work with staff and colleagues to successfully overcome challenges.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Comfort with using and learning new technology as the Library continues to evolve.
Competitive salary starting at $15.82/hour

Hours for this position are:
Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:30 am - 8:15 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:45 am - 5:30 pm. Alternate Fridays and Saturdays from 8:45 am - 5:15 pm. Some Sundays from 12:45 pm - 5:15 pm. Hours subject to change.
