Job Description

- Schedule: Full Time, Days 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Department: Novant Health Mothershed Foot & Ankle Clinic
- Location:Winston- Salem, North Carolina
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
- Supporting rooming, vital signes and patient preparation
- Maintaining a safe and clean care environment
Complete a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months of direct supervision by a registered nurse (RN) employed at the clinic
Or make arrangements to complete this requirement at a sister Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG) clinic location

- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience:
- Two years of acute experience for CNA 1, preferred.
- One year of CNA2 or EMT experience, preferred.
- One year of experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- NA I in good standing within the NA registry, required.
- NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state, required.
- EMT current credential in appropriate state, required.
- One year clinical (medical) office experience, required.
- Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year, required.
- Additional Skills Required:
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience:
