      Job responsibilities

    • Support safe prescribing, dispensing, and supply of medicines

    • Liaise with GPs, consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

    • Identify and manage medicines-related risks and interventions

    • Support patients with long-term conditions through counselling and follow-up

    • Contribute to audits, service improvement, and clinical governance activities

    • Support training and development of pharmacy staff where appropriate

      Essential

      • MPharm degree (or equivalent)
      • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
      • Experience working in a clinical pharmacy environment
      • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

      Experience

      Desirable

      • Independent Prescriber qualification (or working towards)
      • Experience in primary care, secondary care, or community clinical services
      • Postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent experience
      • Experience in service development or quality improvement
