What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and coordinate multiple multi-center clinical trials, ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations
- Act as the central communications liaison between clinical trial collaborators, including investigators and funding sponsors
- Supervise a team of research coordinators, providing training and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with project investigators to meet targets for study start-up, patient recruitment, and enrollment
- Oversee safety management and reporting to regulatory bodies, including the FDA and Data and Safety Monitoring Boards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a research-related field
- 1-2 years of prior supervisory experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) and Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP)
