CTE - Lead the development, alignment, and continuous improvement of career programs of study, pathways, industry certifications, and work-based learning opportunities.
- Review and align course content with technology centers and postsecondary partners to reduce duplication and expand pathway options.
- Help determine curriculum, tools, and resources to support postsecondary planning and career exploration.
- Assist CTE teachers, administrators, and counselors with guiding students through career exploration, goal setting, academic planning, and postsecondary decision-making.
- Ensure equitable access to postsecondary opportunities, including non-traditional career pathways.
- Attend and support monthly postsecondary success team meetings with building leadership to ensure fidelity of implementation.
- Provide training and technical assistance to counselors, administrators, and teachers on college and career readiness tools, including ICAP processes and best practices.
- Develop and deliver professional learning related to workplace readiness, college planning, and postsecondary transitions as needed.
- Support CTE teachers, administrators, counselors, and students with college application, FAFSA, resume writing, interview preparation, and scholarship events at school site
- locations.
- Build and sustain partnerships with postsecondary institutions, technology centers, workforce development agencies, apprenticeship and internship programs, and business and industry partners.
- Recruit and support business and industry partners for industry advisory boards.
- Engage families in the postsecondary planning process through meetings, communications, and events.
- Assist with college visits, career fairs, FAFSA days, application days, and career exploration events.
- Maintain professional affiliations and represent the district at local, state, and national events.
- Coordinate and monitor district-wide college and career readiness processes to ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
- Assist CTE teachers, site administrators, and counselors with the placement, supervision, and evaluation of students in work-based learning and CTSO activities.
- Schedule and coordinate transportation for work-based learning experiences and CTSO events in alignment with allowable funding sources.
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to student postsecondary readiness, completion, and pathway outcomes.
- Use data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for program improvement.
- Maintain accurate records in designated software systems.
- Assist with the development of departmental goals aligned with district strategic priorities.
- Support department operations during peak workload periods and perform other duties as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned in alignment with the district's mission and values.
- Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Career and Technical Education, Career Development, or related field
- Oklahoma Teaching Certification in appropriate subject(s)
- Experience working with secondary students in college and career readiness, counseling, CTE, or workforce development
- Experience collaborating with postsecondary institutions, business and industry partners, and community organizations
- Familiarity with ICAP systems, postsecondary planning tools, and data reporting requirements
- Strong organizational, data analysis, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of college admission, financial aid, workforce development, and industry credentials
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have adequate manual dexterity to write legibly and perform required duties on the computer.
- Must have adequate visual acuity to read, interpret and transcribe written material and other required duties.
- Requires normal range of hearing and clear speaking abilities to interact appropriately with others in person and on the telephone.
- Physical agility, able to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, walk, reach and climb stairs.
- Requires some stooping, bending, stretching and occasional lifting not to exceed 25 pounds.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time.

College and Career Readiness Coordinator
Position Summary:
The College and Career Readiness Coordinator leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of district-wide college and career readiness initiatives aligned to workforce development needs. This role supports students, staff, and schools in designing and sustaining programs of study, pathways, post-secondary opportunities, industry credentials, and work-based learning experiences that lead to successful postsecondary transitions. The coordinator collaborates with counselors, administrators, CTE teachers, workforce development division, partners, postsecondary institutions, technology centers, families, and community stakeholders to ensure students graduate prepared for college, career, and life.
