What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess and analyze charge generation and charge capture workflows to identify revenue leakage and compliance risks
- Review and draft Revenue Integrity-related policies and procedures, providing improvement recommendations
- Conduct detailed research and analysis using various data sources to develop solutions
- Develop financial analyses and models using transactional and client-provided data
- Collaborate with internal teams to create methodologies and documentation for client projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
- 2-6 years of consulting or industry experience in Revenue Integrity and/or Charge Integrity
- Operational expertise in Charge Description Master (CDM) Management, Charge Capture, and Revenue Integrity
- Understanding of Medicare payment systems and charge reconciliation processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Applicable industry certification (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, CCS, CRIP)
- Familiarity with various EMRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, MEDITECH)
- Previous experience in performance and process improvement initiatives in healthcare settings
