- Creating and updating webpages on Canon.ca which includes editing, publishing, and laying out images for user-friendly / high converting pages that will expand the effectiveness of our website.
- Producing and editing professional high-quality photo and video content for web, social media, special events, and marketing purposes.
- Ensuring consistency and alignment of all visual content on communication channels to align with Canon Canada’s artistic and creative direction. Provide brand guidance to business units regarding visual aesthetics for corporate website, campaigns, projects, and event & promotional materials.
- Conceptualizing and developing digital and social facing content to fuel brand engagement.
- Maintaining and organizing digital media files and library for easy access and retrieval.
- Executing the Canon showroom and print shop design based on Executive direction which facilitates positive employee and customer experiences, and lead a cross functional project team and collaborate with business units to ensure it is organized
- Creating and maintain the digital signage and photographic galleries in all Canon Canada offices.
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Media Production
- Minimum 3 years of agency or in-house designer work experience
- Certificate or designation in Arts or Graphic Design is considered an asset.
- Refined with design and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator), web content management systems (e.g Word Press, Magnolia or InDesign).
- Intermediate use of web design (CSS, HTML).
- Refined equipment operation skills are required to operate photographic cameras, video gear, support systems and various accessories.
- Intermediate project and time management skills are required to work on multiple projects simultaneously, follow timelines, and ensure deliverables fit with timelines of others.
- We offer a Hybrid work schedule. You will be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays each week, and can work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).

As a Content Creator and Photographer, you will be reporting to the Senior Director of Communication and Business Administration and responsible for creating new media for all assigned Canon Canada communication channels. This position ensures that Canon Canada’s content accurately depicts the brand identity, reputation and consistency amongst various channels.
