Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
High School graduate or GED.
Preferred one (1) year experience as a Cook in a state institution or large commercial food service establishment.
Must be able to obtain a health certificate.
Must possess good communication skills - verbal and written.
Regular and timely attendance is a must; must be willing to work flexible schedule as needed with occasion weekends and a rotating shift.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Must possess the ability to set-up monthly menus and prepare daily production sheets.
Must possess a valid drivers license and proof of liability insurance.
Prefer experience in working with disadvantaged or underprivileged individuals.
Bilingual preferred.
Other:
Must have not ever been convicted of or placed on court-ordered community supervision or probation for any criminal offense classified as a Class B misdemeanor or higher.
