Job Description
- Req#: R6232
- Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states
- Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
- Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year
- Additional work might be available upon request
- Flexible schedules requiring weekend departures
- Regional freight will be required
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
- Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
- Must be U.S. qualified
- Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
- Must have a minimum of 6 months B.C. mountain experience
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
$1500 Sign on Bonus. Get Paid On Time. Every Time. This position requires you to be on the road 7 to 14 days at a time, averaging 12,000 miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul
