What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain and process authorizations for patient reorders
- Resolve patient issues and ensure accurate processing via phone and documentation
- Maintain up-to-date medical documentation for billing purposes
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to address patient concerns and verify insurance coverage
- Audit supply configurations based on documentation and formulary requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Customer service experience preferred
- Proficient computer literacy with strong keyboarding skills
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Exceptional phone and email etiquette
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role within a healthcare environment
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- Familiarity with medical documentation and insurance requirements
