What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
- Utilize smartphone technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Clean, inspect, and maintain rental equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
- Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use protective gear when necessary
- Availability for scheduled work shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with rental equipment and basic maintenance
- Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification
- Knowledge of propane filling procedures or willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
