Job Description

- Understand and manage the business requirements for IT services and provide the necessary resources to meet those requirements.
- Maintaining and managing the relationship between IT and the business.
- Negotiating the prioritisation of requirements where there are conflicting requirements from the business.
- Coordinating all requirements through the demand management process in close collaboration with the IT organisation, including business analysts, service managers, enterprise architects, etc.
- Capture all requirements for IT services in the demand portfolio and create transparency of the demand portfolio for the IT organisation, business units and other stakeholders.
- Formulate recommendations for prioritising and escalating conflicts.
- Increase integration of applications and infrastructure, improve IT standardisation and exploit synergies between business units.
- Supporting the demand management team in implementing a new demand management approach and making significant adjustments (if required).
- At least 2 - 3 years, ideally 5 years of professional experience as a Demand Manager in an international and dynamic environment characterised by change.
- A degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent is required.
- Very good knowledge of English, additional good knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Problem analysis and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, also in dealing with higher levels.
