What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate purchasing, billing, and collection activities, maintaining statistics and records
- Monitor and purchase office supplies and lab equipment, maintaining inventory and asset records
- Process payroll, changes of status, and attendance records for academic and nonacademic employees
- Prepare requisitions, check requests, and petty cash reimbursements, reconciling monthly ledgers
- Assist in grant and budget preparation and provide backup coverage for key administrative roles
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Familiarity with accounting methods, budget preparation, and payroll processing
- No specific certification is required for this position
