What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a legal authority on global privacy and data laws and standards
- Lead a team to enable regulatory compliance and differentiation on privacy and data
- Develop and maintain privacy and data-specific contract language and templates
- Create and implement privacy and data policies, notices, and training consistent with global frameworks
- Mentor and inspire team members, fostering their professional development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar admission and 12+ years of extensive legal experience, preferably in-house
- Deep expertise in global privacy and data standards and regulations
- Proven track record in operationalizing legal requirements aligned with business needs
- Strong leadership skills with experience motivating teams to deliver pragmatic legal advice
- Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to build processes for identifying and resolving risks while engaging in sophisticated issues
- Strong drafting and communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience in handling ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities and demands
