      Job Description

      This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US.

      The IT Director for Finance Function is responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions that support the organization's financial operations. This role bridges technical expertise with financial acumen to ensure systems align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Strategic Leadership-

      • Develop and execute the IT strategy for the finance function, aligning with overall business objectives
      • Collaborate across various Enlyte IT teams to develop and deploy optimal integrated IT strategy for finance function & business needs
      • Collaborate with the CFO, finance leadership and IT Leadership to identify opportunities for technology-driven process improvements
      • Serve as the primary liaison between the finance department and enterprise IT organization
      • Partnering with Finance Leadership to Lead digital transformation initiatives within the finance function
      • Lead technical design solutions

      Financial Systems Management-

      • Responsibility for delivery of implementation, integration, and optimization of financial systems including Oracle Netsuite, Billing application, accounting software, budgeting tools, and reporting platforms
      • Ensure financial systems maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
      • Direct the evaluation and selection, design & implementation of financial technology solutions
      • Manage system upgrades, patches, and maintenance to minimize operational disruptions
      • On-going maintenance for finance technical solutions
      • Ownership to ensure timely and accurate Finance data / reporting in data lake SNFL
      • Ensure SDLC protocols are established
      • Manage accurate and timely finance data sourcing – extract load processes for monthly billing
      • Manage new product and customer setup for billing
      • Legacy systems decommissioning and legacy data maintenance

      Team Leadership-

      • Build and manage a team of IT professionals (internal and external) supporting finance and billing applications
      • Develop staffing budgets and assess skills and costs to determine optimal internal / external resourcing
      • Lead technical teams for end to end finance solutions delivery
      • Develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development opportunities
      • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures
      • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and service excellence

      Risk Management & Compliance-

      • Implement robust controls to protect financial data and ensure system security
      • Maintain compliance with SOC, and other relevant regulatory requirements
      • Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
      • Partner with information security teams to address vulnerabilities and threats
      • Identify & mitigate any systems risk & critical resource single point failure situations

      Project Management-

      • Lead major finance technology implementations, upgrades & feature enhancements
      • Establish project governance frameworks, timelines, and resource allocation
      • Manage tech vendor relationships and third-party service providers
      • Balance competing priorities and resource constraints to deliver projects on time and within budget

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
      • 10+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 5 years in finance, billing, datalake and reporting (PBI, Tableau, Hex) technologies
      • Proven track record leading enterprise-level system implementations
      • Experience managing teams and developing talent
      • Experience in large enterprise organization ($2B plus)
      • Experience in M&A as well as systems consolidation

      Technical Skills:

      • Deep understanding of financial systems architecture and data mapping and integration, middleware applications
      • Knowledge of major ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Adaptive, etc.) & billing processes
      • Familiarity with financial reporting tools, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions (PBI, Tableau, Hex)
      • Understanding of IT security frameworks and compliance requirements

      Leadership & Soft Skills:

      • Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
      • Strong solutioning, design, problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
      • Change management expertise
      • Strategic vision with practical implementation skills

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $130,800 - $190,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
