- Design data center transportation solutions and processes in line with industry standards, as well as our customer specifications
- Develop end to end solutions, including warehousing, specialty transportation, last mile services/white glove delivery, technical installation and spare parts logistics
- Lead the design and implementation of transportation solutions for data center equipment inclusive of dedicated fleet and contracted carrier
- Define technical standards, carrier qualifications, fleet requirements, quality assurance protocols, and safety guidelines for data center equipment transportation (middle and final/last mile)
- Develop SOPs and training materials to ensure consistent execution.
- Act as the subject matter expert to support customer discussions, bid processes, solution design and pricing.
- Support transportation team in qualifying and sourcing 3rd party carriers
- Partner with business development teams to articulate technical capabilities and build trust with potential customers.
- Support written tender responses and solution presentations
- Oversee pilot projects and initial deployments to validate processes and ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep DHL solutions competitive.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with transportation teams to institutionalize learns and productize offering
Director of Transportation Operations - Data Center Logistics
As a leading 3PL, we deliver end-to-end solutions for our customers, including warehousing, dedicated fleet operations, and strategic carrier contracting. This role is pivotal in supporting transportation projects and tenders, strengthening organizational knowledge, building technical expertise, and establishing robust operational standards. You will play a key role in shaping best-in-class transportation practices for our growing Data Center logistics business—from private “white glove” fleet development and carrier procurement through to execution excellence—while ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.
Working regionally and collaborating globally, you will drive continuous improvement across transportation operations, lead the implementation of new processes and enabling technologies, standardize documentation and operating procedures, and develop training to ensure teams can deliver high-quality transportation services confidently and consistently.

Required Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 4 years work experience, required
•9 + years in data center logistics/transportation, infrastructure or related roles, required
•Experience sourcing and managing fleet solutions for data center customers inclusive of dedicated fleet and contract carrier solutions, required
•Proven expertise in data center logistics services with a focus on equipment handling, transportation, server rack assembly, installation, required
•Strong knowledge of data center operating and compliance standards, required
•Commercial experience (costing, pricing, P&L management), required
•Strong project management and leadership skills, required
•Ability to develop SOPs and training programs, required
•Excellent communication skills for customer-facing engagements, required
