      Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7a - 9a & 3p - 5p

      SUMMARY

      Provides safe transportation for clients, families, and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions and assists staff in supervising clients during said functions. Ensures cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle, and may perform additional custodial and building maintenance tasks when not driving.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:

      • Provides safe transportation of clients, families, and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions.
      • May assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
      • May keep records of trips and/or behavior of passengers.
      • Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle including refueling, oil maintenance, and the like.
      • Maintains proper vehicle documentation, e.g., registration, inspection sticker, insurance, etc.
      • Maintains ethical and professional standards as outlined in agency policies and abides by all statutes in conducting agency business.
      • May perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial and maintenance tasks.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      None required.

      Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job

      The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

      Education and Experience:

      • High School Diploma or the equivalent required
      • Experience in similar role preferred

      Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

      • Valid Driver’s License and car insurance required.

      • Travel as needed

      Physical Requirements:

      • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
