What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Specialty accounts to drive profitable growth
- Manage an assigned portfolio to achieve premium, profitability, retention, and new business goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and internal stakeholders
- Conduct thorough analysis of risks and pricing components to make informed underwriting decisions
- Provide training and product knowledge transfer to agents to enhance their effectiveness
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years of commercial E&S casualty underwriting experience
- Proven track record of driving agency relationships for profitable new and renewal business
- High proficiency across underwriting core competencies, with specialization in 1-2 areas preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
