What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Specialty accounts to drive profitable growth
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve gross written premium, profitability, and retention goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and internal stakeholders
- Implement territory business plans and monitor performance for future growth opportunities
- Provide training and product knowledge to agents to enhance their selling capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years of commercial E&S casualty underwriting experience
- Proven track record in driving agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business
- High level of proficiency across LOB underwriting core competencies
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems while managing multiple concurrent projects

- Specialization or certification in 1-2 specialty areas
- Experience with complex risk assessments and pricing strategies
- Demonstrated informal leadership within a team environment
- Strong ability to influence outcomes and drive results through effective communication
- Experience in mentoring or training less experienced team members
