Job Description
- Req#: 30849
- Conducting Inspections, Installations and Repairs.
- Identifying and resolving electrical issues, conducting repairs, replacements or assembling equipment according to technical drawings/manuals.
- Adhering to engineering specifications and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and Interpret Electrical Drawings.
- Plan and execute electrical installations and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Electrical Problems.
- Diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions using testing equipment and technical expertise.
- Identify the root causes of issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Safety Compliance, adhere to safety procedures, follow electrical codes and regulations, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Conduct safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take corrective actions to minimize risks associated with electrical systems.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Qualified Electrician – Trade tested.
- Must have experience of working in a heavy manufacturing industry.
- Valid Flameproof Certificate advantageous.
- Be able to read electrical schematic and wiring drawings.
- Valid crane license advantageous.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Strong work Ethic and Reliability.
- Adaptability and Flexibility.
