Job Description
- Req#: 52415
- Performing electrical maintenance or remedial work according to SAP notifications, work orders and planned schedules, including during shuts.
- Completing notifications and work orders on the SAP system.
- Fault finding on electrical systems during breakdown and effect the required repairs to keep downtime to a minimum. Participate in failure analysis.
- Completing daily and weekly inspections on electrical systems and their components according to a detailed checklist. Identify repairs required and recommend preventative maintenance to the foreman.
- Drawing required spares from Stores using the SAP picking list.
- Assisting production personnel with isolation processes on request.
- Grade 12 plus N2 Electrical Engineering or Millwright
- Recognised Electrician or Millwright Trade Test Certificate
- N3 Electrical Engineering or Millwright would be an advantage
- Sappi Internal Artisan Development Program or Apprenticeship would be advantage
- 3 years’ experience post trade as an Electrical Artisan
- SAP experience in a manufacturing industry would be an advantage
- Valid driver’s license would be an advantage
- The ability to work under pressure while following all procedures and standards
