      Your role

      This is a great opportunity to join our trading team in London as an NDF trader in Asia space. Work closely with sales and research. Maintain our strong presence in the markets and serve our franchise.

      We’re looking for someone who can:
      • Have strong understanding and trading experience in Asia NDF markets
      • Generate revenue through timely and accurately execution of client orders/risk transfers
      • Manage broad range of risks, including but not limited to trading risk, execution risk, operational risk, compliance risk and control risk etc.
      • Work closely with distribution team to engage and build relationships with UBS clients
      • Follow, adhere to and promote the UBS principles and behaviours acting with integrity, due skill, care and diligence at all times

      Your team

      You’ll be working in the EMFX/ STIR trading team in London. Our role is to provide UBS clients with advice, solutions, execution and full access to Emerging Markets FX & Rates markets globally. We help our clients identify and access the markets that match their specific investment/hedging objectives.

      Your expertise

      • Relevant licenses/qualifications needed to perform trading duty in London
      • More than 3 years’ experience in trading Emerging Markets FX and Rates.
      • Strong risk management record of market making books
      • Good understanding of clients' needs and behaviour in Asia NDF markets
      • Understand and observe relevant regulations and proper standards of market conduct
      • Disciplined risk manager focused on building sustainable franchise
      • Good team player who can work towards common goal with colleagues
      • Able to coach and train junior members of the team
      • Able to communicate and explain complex ideas effectively to colleagues and clients
      • Able to catch up with latest regulatory/technology changes in the industry and identify challenges/opportunities for the bank
