What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a robust control testing program to evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls across the organization
- Establish testing protocols, methodologies, and schedules for consistent evaluations of key controls
- Collaborate with business units to remediate control weaknesses and enhance processes
- Monitor and report on control performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct training sessions to enhance organizational awareness of control testing practices and risk management principles
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or control testing within a financial institution
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- A Post Graduate Degree or Industry Qualification preferred
- Moderate to strong working knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and services
- Understanding of risk management concepts including Enterprise Risk Management and Third-Party Risk
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in analytical tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
