  Technician – Power, HVAC, Diesel, Pumps | Full-Time

  Join a leading equipment rental and service team as a Technician, where you’ll work hands-on with Power, HVAC, Compressor, and Pump equipment. You’ll handle loading/unloading, basic preventive maintenance, and minor repairs to keep equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude and experience working with generators, diesel-driven pumps, HVAC units, compressors, and power distribution systems.

  What You’ll Do

  • Safely load and unload equipment, ensuring proper handling and setup.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs on Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment.
  • Inspect equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain generators, power distribution units, A/C units, heaters, HVAC systems, diesel pumps, and related accessories.
  • Support equipment readiness for customer use, rentals, and field deployment.

  Essential Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience repairing or maintaining Power, HVAC, Compressor, or Pump equipment.
  • Working knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C units, heaters, HVAC systems, and diesel-driven pumps.
  • Understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, electronics, and hydraulics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operational processes and systems quickly.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA Universal Certification (highly preferred).
  • Proven troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
  • Hands-on experience with generators, hydraulics, compressors, and electrical components.

  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, VA.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
