What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with the application team to implement and maintain EHR systems and databases
- Manage the analysis, design, implementation, operation, and support of information technology resources
- Interface with all areas of Information Technology Services to ensure project success
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other professional staff regarding drug-related issues
- Demonstrate innovative thinking to meet project deadlines and commitments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of three to six years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
- Thorough knowledge of inpatient and clinic-based operations
- Ability to work at a high technical level on application systems analysis and workflow analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous Epic experience in training, build, and/or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program
