      Qualifications

      What You Bring

      We welcome applicants who possess the following skills and qualifications to apply:

      • Education and Experience Required:
        • Minimum high school diploma
        • Technical training in automotive/heavy equipment mechanics is preferred
        • Experience working with or around mechanized forestry equipment is considered an asset
      • Mechanical aptitude is required
      • Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract is required
      • Ability to work day and night shifts with some on-call availability is required
      • Ability to work some weekends required
      • Willingness to travel throughout the day to multiple job sites is required
      • Familiarity with road construction activities
      • Experience operating a log truck or Class 1 License is considered an asset
      • Background or exposure to forestry or transportation

      Responsibilities

      What You’ll Do
      • Coordinate equipment movement, including arranging towing.
      • Perform inspections and assessments alongside our mechanic.
      • Schedule and dispatch grader for road maintenance.
      • Oversee regular maintenance of forestry equipment and trucks.
