      Position Information: If you are organized and have a passion for creating impactful educational experiences through events and possess the skills to bring innovative ideas to life, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity. The Office of the Dean for OSU Agriculture is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator. As a key member of the Office of the Vice President and Dean for OSU Agriculture, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events on the OSU Stillwater campus and other locations in Oklahoma. You will also be an expert in working with faculty, staff and student groups who utilize the New Frontiers meeting spaces.

      Education & Experience

      Position Qualifications:

      Required: High School/GED

      Three years experience in professional event planning.

      Driver’s license

      - Event planning experience for commercial business or higher education.
      - Experience with balance sheets, budgeting, and accounting associated with event execution.
      - Experience partnering with other organizations to plan events.
      - Strong organizational and project management skills.
      - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      - Use of technology and assisting others in the use of technology systems.

      Preferred: Bachelor's degree in events management, agriculture, communications or similar.

      Five years event planning experience.

      Familiarity with governmental meeting planning and procurement procedures.
