What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of client interests and mission requirements to inform research and reporting
- Evaluate foreign language media sources and conduct topical research to produce sourced, written reports in English
- Adhere to client style and translation standards for all products
- Efficiently utilize client-specific tools and workflows to meet deadlines
- Provide timely updates and insights on emerging topics of interest
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma and three years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Chinese, with testing required to establish language proficiency (minimum score of 3/3+ on the ILR scale)
- Subject matter expertise in international topics such as climate change, global health, politics, or military
- Experience with open-source research, product creation, and collection management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word, along with excellent written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and one year of relevant experience
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
