Responsibilities
THE ROLE
This position is built for someone who takes pride in repeatable excellence. You'll work at a steady, purposeful pace - following well-defined processes, managing details with care, and supporting clients through emotionally complex legal matters with professionalism and compassion.
You won't be guessing what good looks like. Our systems, training, and team will give you everything you need to succeed - and leadership is always accessible when you need guidance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Communicate with clients and other parties to provide updates and gather information with empathy and clarity
• Draft pleadings, including Complaints, Motions, Discovery Requests, Subpoenas, Orders, and Affidavits under attorney guidance
• Review and organize financial documents; prepare spreadsheets and Financial Affidavits
• Maintain client files with meticulous accuracy and attention to detail
• Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and arbitrations
• File pleadings with the Court and communicate with the Family Court as needed
• Track, monitor, and calendar all court filings and deadlines
• Interview witnesses and prepare summaries
• Prepare trial and mediation materials alongside the legal team
• Participate in all aspects of a family law case

Qualifications
• NC State Bar Certified Paralegal - required
• Bachelor's Degree - required
• Prior Paralegal experience required; prior family law experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive client situations with empathy and discretion
• In-person availability at our Cary, NC office - this is not a remote positionAbout the company
