      Job Title: Finance Manager

      Job Description

      We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and support contract and project-based business activities. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and effective budget management.

      Responsibilities

      • Manage financial accounting, general ledger, and monthly close activities.
      • Prepare and analyze balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements.
      • Develop, monitor, and track annual budgets and performance forecasts.
      • Oversee project cost control and contract-related financial activities.
      • Ensure compliance with GAAP and local/state sales tax requirements.
      • Support audits and respond to financial reporting requests.
      • Lead and develop accounting staff (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).

      • 3-7 years of finance/accounting experience/ supporting project-based or contract-driven business
      • CPA license preferred but not required
      • Strong GAAP knowledge
      • Advanced Excel skills
      • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
