      What you will do

      · Working as part of the Marine design team, On mechanical design aspects of marine fire suppression projects, ensuring precision and adherence to client specifications.

      · Draft detailed CAD drawings and data sheets for fire protection systems tailored to the unique requirements of each project.

      · Develop a variety of drawings, including mechanical schematics, P&ID's, Equipment Datasheets, and Hydraulic Calculations.

      · Interpret and apply Approval Authority rules and Regulations.

      · Collaborate with the Project Management team, offering valuable design and CAD support.

      What we look for

      Essential

      · Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and the internal project team.

      · Proficiency in AutoCAD and Hydraulic Calculation package (Fire CAD or equivalent).

      · Ability to interpret clients' technical specifications.

      · Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages.

      · Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Fire suppression systems on Buildings or Marine

      Preferred

      · Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering

      · Experience in the Marine Industry.

      · Previous involvement in MoD contracts.

      · Background in the Fire Protection industry. With experience in Sprinkler, Foam, Local Application Water mist and Gaseous (Novec, C02, Inergen) fire suppression systems.
