What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop sales opportunities targeting specific user segments
- Provide training and education to authorized distributors on products and sales strategies
- Represent the employer at trade associations, industry meetings, fire schools, and conferences
- Prepare and execute sales proposals, contracts, and other customer correspondence
- Provide management with reports on competitive offerings, pricing, and market forecasts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum of three (3) years of safety/industrial experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- One (1) year of experience with CRM and Microsoft & iOS apps
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Strong oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five (5) years of sales experience in safety or industrial sales
- Experience as a manufacturer representative in the Canadian Fire Service Industry
- Skills in interpersonal selling, negotiation, and public speaking
- History in the management of distribution partners
